Vision of Journey:Small Groups

Day 1
Read Ephesians 4:11
-16
1) In what ways can we apply this passage to Small Groups?

2) Vss. 13-14 talk about attaining unity of faith and maturity in Christ. How can Small Groups help us attain these things? And how can Christian fellowship help us to “no longer...be tossed to and fro”?

3) Dissect the phrase “speaking truth in love”. How can you apply this in our Small Groups? In everyday situations?

Day 2
Read Hebrews 10:23
-25
1) You’ve probably heard these verses used to talk about church

attendance. Can they also apply to Small Groups?

2) How can Small Groups help us “hold fast” to our confession of hope?

Why is this important?

3) One aspect of Small Groups is to “stir one another to love and good works”. Have you ever been involved in a Small Group that practiced this? Why is it important to put “love and good works” into practice? How does this help us understand the message of the Bible better?

Day 3
Read Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer in John 17.
1) Why do you think Jesus prayed this over His disciples?

2) What parts of it do you see applying to Small Groups?

Read again John 17:20-23.
3) In these verses, what is it that the world would see that they might
believe that God sent Jesus into the world? How do Small Groupshelp accomplish this?

4) Are you a part of a Small Group? Would you like to join or start a Small Group? For more information about Small Groups, check out our Welcome Center or contact Pastor Mark.
