Going Deeper Audacious Faith: Audacious Action

Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal new truths to you in a new way.

1) How do you see praise, prayer, and thankfulness being used in your own life? How do they relate to one another?

2) There is a command to “give thanks in all circumstances”. Knowing that Paul (the writer) had gone through shipwrecks, imprisonment, beatings, poverty, etc.; how should you then interpret this verse?

3) This passage says that to rejoice, pray, and give thanks is the “will of God in Christ Jesus for you”. Why do you think it is stated this way? Why do you think it is God’s will for you?

This Week’s Challenge:

1) Please continue praying for our church and our community.
2) Continue praying that God would reveal His vision, mission, purpose

for your life.
3) Find a passage of Scripture that really speaks to you and relates to a

situation that you are facing. Pray that Scripture back to God and ask

Him to align your will with His.
4) Be Unstoppable in your prayer life and in the actions that come out of

your prayer life.
5) What purpose, mission, vision has God laid on your heart that you

have always been too afraid to pursue? I challenge you to write it down and pin it to our Audacious Faith Wall. Then allow the church to pray over that purpose for your life as you begin to pursue it.

As you pray for these things this week, write down the things that God reveals to you. Write down how He has used you this week to accomplish His purpose for your life. Then, come back to church and share your experiences on the Audacious Faith wall. Write down on a 3x5 card the miracles that God has performed in your life this week.
